FANFIT 12 Week Training Program

The goal of this program is to deliver a sport inspired approach to training and self-improvement.

You'll work alongside incredible athletes during circuit training. These athletes include FANFIT founder Andrew Russell, Olympic medalist Mark Oldershaw, elite sprinter Sam Effah, and elite wrestler Samantha Stewart. You'll also train your mind and "brain fitness" with mindfulness facilitator Beth Wallace.

This program includes:

1) Circuit workouts are 3 times per week with 5 minute intro videos, guiding audio tracks, picture & written guide, and downloadable pdf (found at start of each week).

2) Mindfulness meditation guide that includes a weekly theme, 2 minute intro guide, and 5-10 minute guiding audio tracks.

3) Aerobic training guide 3 days a week. This includes a guiding 1 minute video per session.

4) Weekly motivation video to kick-off each week.

5) Access to closed Facebook training group.

6) Support available 7 days a week.

In total there are 12 weeks of unique circuit training workouts, audio tracks and supporting videos on mindset and mindfulness, and a bank of aerobic conditioning workouts to choose from.

This is a holistic program, and is designed to push both your mind and body.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

How is the training delivered online?
Circuit Workouts: You will receive the content with a written description with pictures, an intro video, and an audio track you can use to follow along for the circuit workouts. Aerobic / Cross-Training: These recommended complementary workouts are introduced with a video intro that explains the workout and a short written explanation. Mindfulness: The meditation practice is delivered with an intro video and an audio track you can follow along with during your practice. Each week a different themed audio track is released at the start of the week.
How does this program support athletes?
The FANFIT 12 Week Training Program supports the Canadian Olympic Foundation, with $10 from every sale being donated to support up and coming athletes across the country. In addition to this support, some individual athletes are supported with sales commissions on programs that they sell.
What is the format for the circuit workouts?
The circuit workouts are primarily time based. That means a prescribed work to rest ratio is introduced during the majority of workouts. In some instances workouts also include repetition based instruction. Exercises throughout the program are primarily body weight driven or include the use of light weight.
How does this program differ from other online programs?
This program is one of the best options you can find. FANFIT both brings you closer to elite athletes over the 12 week period. In addition to the challenging physical workouts, there is an emphasis on holistic health and wellness. For this reason, "brain fitness" is a major component of the program with meditation based mindfulness training program featured throughout the entire 12 week duration.
Who will I be working with?
The featured athletes include Sam Effah (elite Canadian sprinter), Mark Oldershaw (Olympic bronze medalist in sprint canoe), Samantha Stewart (national champion wrestler), and FANFIT founder and Olympian Andrew Russell. Mindfulness training is led by UCLA certified mindfulness instructor Beth Wallace.
My fitness level is moderate, is this a good option for me?
Yes, this program should be suitable for you. This program is geared towards moderate to advanced level participants. It is gradual but challenging, and you'll work hard throughout the 12 weeks.
